To live a revolution, to breathe the change, to become a new generation, free and equal, vibrant and groundbreaking - these were the vibes in the air of the 80s around the planet, an incredible era, that gave an inspiration to this ready-to-wear collection, the third ready-to-wear collection of MAË PARIS. This era gave birth to the movement of female empowerment, letting women wearing suits for the first time in the same manner as men, and compete for the same careers.

The new femininity was born : the woman of power and her style.

Sharp silhouettes, accentuated shoulders, bold colours of vivid blue electric and daring fuchsia pink, a mix of fluid and strong textures make her wardrobe. Signature 80’s lycra in new, modern shapes, mixed with leather, silk and wool, taking the best from the men’s styles into the most feminine pieces. Silhouettes inspired by the one-of-a-kind pop and disco divas of the time, and the rise of the first music videos, that have once and for always left an impact on our culture.
